Reptile visit

Thanks to lots of donations from the parents this year, we were able to receive a visit from 3 reptiles from the Bean Life Science museum. The kids were in awe the whole time! I strongly encourage you to go visit the museum with your child to see a free show. Here's the friends who came to visit us:

Duke the iguana:
 
Everyone got to pet the iguana. Ask your child how it felt.

Houdini the turtle:
 A turtle's skeleton is built into the shell.
  Cuddles the snake:
Everything was calm and smooth until he put the snake on the ground. Then the kids started to squirm.



The presenter also brought a crocodile skull...
and skin...
or was that from an alligator???

Ii

Duke the iguana came to our school!!!
We learned how to draw an iguana and did an online iguana jigsaw puzzle.

And if that wasn't iiinteresting enough, we made igloos out of marshmallows. The kids even carefully placed the marshmallows as if they were blocks of ice.


Now try saying this 3 times fast:

Izry is in an igloo
