I came up with this fabulous activity to help the students remember the "ar" sound and spelling. The kids love saying it with a pirate accent :-) They got to choose a cAR, fARm, shARk or stAR and outline it with yARn.
Ms. G was a big help on this tricky art project.
The kids worked hard but some of them ran out of time to finish.
Next time maybe we should do this the same week as the Glow in the DARk pARty...
